Hi all there out there in cyberspace. Thank you for stumbling across my post which could be loosely called a blog post. Here i'll be talking about everything and nothing at the same time, So sit back, relax and enjoy the ride which is my blog.
This first blog i'll dedicate to rugby league and mainly how boring bye weeks can be. Byes are evil creatures created by the fact that there is an uneven amount of teams in the competition thus one team would have to take a week off and gain two points for no reason at all and each team has two. They were also created to give teams with heavy origin representation a rest right after the event.
Now this week (Round 19) saw my team St George Illawarra having one of these evil byes because they were the only team besides Newcastle to not fulfill our bye quota so far but I digress. The games this week didnt really inspire any excitement besides the fact my tips rode on them (I got 5/7 btw, The Warriors and Eels can both die in a hole) and the fact that the titans were playing the bulldogs and I hoped they both destroyed each other to the point, the Dragons were handed the minor premiership alas that didnt happen sadly :(.
Why are there even bye weeks when the NRL has 16 teams in the competition because like i stated earlier it was only brought in because Souths were kicked out thus creating a team imbalance in games each week. This week went by so slow, I had to actually do things non dragons related that is just not on! luckily a 19th on Saturday kept me busy from the fact there were no dragons games and the depressing fact being the Australian cricket team losing to England at Lords where we haven't lost for 75 years due to cheating umpires but thats for another blog.
Thank you anyone who listened to my insane ramblings about the evilness of the bye and in closing England suck, the roosters couldn't win a game to save their lives and I go back to uni next week sadly *sadface*
